"Gourmet dinner,worth every cent!"

I cannot relate to the few poor ratings for this place, as every single thing was just amazing!
Stunning location on a small cosy balcony, probably the one with the best view/atmosphere as the highest and with fewer tables of Monemvassia.
We wet for our wedding anniversary and they even arranged some fresh roses for is in the table. Service was impeccable, they even took back an appetizer as we did not realize it had an ingredient we did now like and did it again with a smile.
The food was a unique experience, costly but you get what you pay...far better than a taverna, offering variations and special ingredients. Also, portions were really abundant. As an example, the fava was deliciously creamy and coming with big shrimps, the tabbouleh was fresh and very tasty, the best I ever had.
We paid about 100 eur with 3 big appetizers, 1 main (chicken rolls with cheese), 1 orange dessert made on the spot and a bottle of wine. We were full and very delighted.
Highly recommended! Book on advice to get a table on the balcony with good view. Seems nice also in fall/winter as they have a beautiful space also inside.

"Great terrace"

Service and terrace were perfect. Monemvassia wines surprisingly good with good advice from the server. We recommend especially 2008 Batikas 50-50. Food also excellent with good choices. We had the lamb special and a fish dish.

"Εξαιρετική επιλογή για τις διακοπές μας!"

Το πρωινό τους ήταν πλούσιο και σπιτικό από ό,τι καταλάβαμε γευστικά και μόνο. Το φαγητό εξαιρετικό, με χορταστικές μερίδες και οικονομικό κατά τη γνώμη μας για την ποιότητά του. Ο σεφ καταπληκτικός στις δημιουργίες του. Ο χώρος δε, πολύ ατμοσφαιρικός με εξαιρετικές λεπτομέρειες. Ευχαριστούμε!

"Not to be missed"

We spent three days in Monemvasia and we visited Chrysovoulo twice. Once for dinner and the next day for lunch. The food is excellent, creative greek cuisine, very well presented. It is a small, cosy restaurant, with one of the best views in Monemvasia. The people were very friendly and helpful. We will strongly reccomend it!

"A dinner 500 years ago..."

A medieval place made and decorated with something that deserves ..
magnificent views, attentive and unassuming menu with an emphasis on pasta and worthy wine list. Highly recommend!
