"Wow"

Spectacular views. Fine dining experience in a beautifully designed restaurant. The food is very non Greek. Very well prepared and presented as you would expect from a first class restaurant. Service was good. A little on the pricey side but for a special occasion very worth it. You won't find food like this in many places.

"Top spot"

Make a reservation, too cozy, loved the people, taste up to day with the pallets. Dont miss the lobster since is a local wild catch and make sure you take lots of pictures!

"You must go"

We visited Monemvasia on May 24th-26th 2013 and unfortunately we went to this amazing place only few hours before our departure, just for coffee and deserts. We got two deserts, one was banana with orange sauce and a chocolate souflet. Both were very delicious but the banana sweet was one of the best we have ever had. The service was excellent, the owners very polite and the view one of the best in Monemvasia.
Unfortunately we had no time to taste the food but will definately do next time.
PS. the same owners for 'moni emvasis suites' definately a must place to stay during your visit there. Although the cost is high (euro 150-200) the place deserves every euro you spend there.

"Value your moments"

We've stayed in Monemvasia for three days, Chrisovoulo Restaurant was our last dine inside the castle. The service was excellent (people were very polite ), the food was a pleasant surprise (both orzotto and the chicken dish were cooked perfectly ), the dining hall was aesthetically (and minimally ) decorated.
The wine list was lacking of local varieties, but there were nice wines for all budgets, the only thing i did find reprehensible was that the prices were pinched way up ( should be at least 5 euros less per dish ) .
Our overall impression is very positive, we will visit it again but will check the price-list first !!!!

"Keep coming back for more!"

Dining at Chrisovoulo Restaurant has turned me into a food critic.

The menu consists of traditional meals with a twist (e.g. fried feta cheese ice cream) and wherever possible produce from the region is sourced to create sumptuous dishes which make you keep coming back for more (we certainly did as we dined 3 times in 5 days!).
The Chrisovoulo salad was a success with a perfect balance of flavours and the melon marinated with local Malvasia wine was a great appetiser. Lamb moussaka certainly puts all other moussaka dishes to shame while the traditional milk pie became a favourite dessert over the days.
The interior of the restaurant easily caters for families and larger groups, while it can also provide intimacy for couples. The staff were friendly and certainly made us feel welcomed. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.
