"Great terrace"

Service and terrace were perfect. Monemvassia wines surprisingly good with good advice from the server. We recommend especially 2008 Batikas 50-50. Food also excellent with good choices. We had the lamb special and a fish dish.

"Not to be missed"

We spent three days in Monemvasia and we visited Chrysovoulo twice. Once for dinner and the next day for lunch. The food is excellent, creative greek cuisine, very well presented. It is a small, cosy restaurant, with one of the best views in Monemvasia. The people were very friendly and helpful. We will strongly reccomend it!

"A dinner 500 years ago..."

A medieval place made and decorated with something that deserves ..
magnificent views, attentive and unassuming menu with an emphasis on pasta and worthy wine list. Highly recommend!

"Original food!"

Agree with everyone about romantic view. Wine list was great and the waitress helpful, friendly if not a trifle forgetful. What we loved was the use of local product in a creative way, drawing on french technique...such as fava bean veloute. The langoustine pasta had a delicious seafood bisque added that really lifted the dish. It was evident that skill and preparation had gone into it, which makes a nice change from some of the "traditional" restaurants we've encountered.
Just as constructive comment to make this restaurant even more fabulous: if you are not putting the customer's wine on their table you must make sure they don't have to constantly ask for it.
Apart from that we recommend this restaurant highly.
Hint: by making a booking we seemed to get the best table.

"Small, elegant and cosy"

The restaurant is on a small balcony with not more than 7 tables and beautiful view over the sea. The food is very good. We would definitely go back.
